Dental Implants
A fixed, natural-looking replacement for missing teeth.
Titanium implants act as artificial roots that hold a crown, bridge or denture firmly in place.
A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone. Once it has integrated with the bone, a custom crown is attached on top — giving you a tooth that looks, feels and works like your own.
Implants also help preserve the jawbone, which can shrink after tooth loss, and they do not depend on neighbouring teeth for support.

Common questions
Am I a suitable candidate?
Most healthy adults with enough bone are. Gum disease, diabetes and smoking need to be assessed first — your dentist will advise.
Is it painful?
The procedure is done under local anaesthesia. Mild discomfort afterwards is managed with medication.
How long does it take?
The whole process usually takes a few months because the implant needs time to bond with the bone.
